Hai Lang Residence

Welcome to Hai Lang Residence, where the name, meaning “wave” in Mandarin, is reflected in its architectural design. Created by Jason Harb of JIH Building Design, this residence captures the graceful forms and dynamic movement of waves, making it a unique masterpiece.
This home is not just a house; it exemplifies innovation and sophistication, pushing the boundaries of Australian architecture. The collaboration between the Building Designer, Interior Designer, and Construction team has resulted in a residence that redefines architectural brilliance. Birdblack Design’s interior designers seamlessly integrated the interior design with the architecture and Joinery finishes creating a harmonious and flowing effect through meticulous selections of designs and finishes.

Bober was entrusted with the joinery work for the ground and first floors, including the kitchen, butler’s pantry, entertainment unit, laundry, wet kitchen, Home office, powder room, shoe storage cabinets, guest bedroom wardrobes, and ensuite vanities with shave cabinets. Using a combination of engineered veneers and liquid metal finishes, we pushed the boundaries to achieve the stunning final product you see here

Perfect use of a stone floor to ceiling door to hide the entry into the butlers pantry, not that it needed to be hidden once inside is seen.

Who doesn’t love a wet kitchen equipped with dog beds, a grooming bench, and wash bays for our furry family members!
